About Bilingual SPOT.
At Bilingual Spot, we share clinical expertise through parent workshops, professional training (for teachers and allied-health clinicians), and research collaboration. Our mission is to empower families and professionals with evidence-based knowledge on bilingual language development.
Our journey began with Blackburn Speech & Paediatric Therapy (BSP) — a clinic dedicated to providing professional clinical services for bilingual children and families. Here, we walk alongside children as they grow, supporting them through challenges in language, learning, and emotions.
As our services expanded, we founded Bilingual Spot — a space focused on bilingual education and research. Through this platform, we share knowledge with parents, educators, and professionals, building bridges across languages, cultures, and communities.
The Bilingual Speech Spot Podcast is a natural extension of our story. In Cantonese, we break down professional knowledge into everyday conversations. Speech Pathologist Chloe chats with you about language development, parenting experiences, and family life. This is our way of giving back to the community that raised us.
