“My Word of 2026: Becoming”
2 days ago my YouTube popped up my 2025 summary, it showed something so simple… yet so true about who I am.

The two topics I spent the most time on this year were personal growth and AI technology.
And I smiled when I saw that, because it reminded me:
This is exactly what I care about. This is what your leader values.
Growing as a human.
Growing as a thinker.
Growing as a professional.
And always finding smarter, kinder, more meaningful ways to support our families.
But today, I don’t want to talk about my growth.
I want to talk about yours.
⸻
This clinic is not just a workplace — it’s a protected space for becoming.
Especially for those of you in your early career…
I know what it’s like to feel the pressure of wanting to “get it right,” to figure out your identity as a clinician, to wonder if your ideas are good enough.
That is why I built this place to be a safe ground for you to try.
To test your ideas.
To create.
To fail safely —— and to rise again with confidence.
Because I’m not here to judge.
I’m here to grow with you.
When you come to me with a new idea — whether it’s a program, a therapy activity, a group concept, a workflow improvement —
I see courage.
I see creativity.
I see the beginning of your voice as a professional.
⸻
Your growth is personal to me.
Every milestone you reach…
Every new skill you learn…
Every moment you begin to trust your instincts more than you did last month…
I feel so proud.
Not because of the output.
But because I can see you stepping into yourselves.
I built this business so it could be a home — not just for clients, but for you.
A place where you are allowed to become.
A place where you are allowed to grow and evolve into the therapist and professional you want to be.
And the truth is…
I am also becoming.
I am still learning how to be a better leader, a better thinker, a better human.
So when I say we are growing together, I truly mean it.
We’re not walking different paths.
We’re walking the same path, side by side.
My biggest wish is that, years from now, you look back and say:
“This was the place where I became confident.
Where I found my voice.
Where I discovered the kind of therapist I wanted to be.”

And I want to honour something very special: the bilingual community you are supporting.
Every time you adjust your language, your approach, your lens…
Every time you sit with a parent who is navigating two cultures…
Every time you hold space for a child who is learning how to express themselves across languages…
You are doing work that is more than clinical.
It is cultural.
It is generational.
It is healing.
Families come to us because they feel seen.
They trust us because you speak to them — not just in their languages, but in their values, their stories, their hopes.
You are helping bilingual families feel understood in a system that often overlooks them.
You are giving children the confidence to use both their languages proudly.
You are connecting worlds.
This is legacy work — and it matters deeply.
I hope you feel proud of the impact you are making, because I am incredibly proud of you
—
And to our admin team… your growth matters just as deeply.
A clinic can only function when its heart beats steadily — and our admin team is that heartbeat.
You keep the operation smooth.
You create order when things get chaotic.
You make sure families feel supported long before they enter the therapy room.
Your work may not always be in the spotlight, but it is felt every single day.
in every smooth schedule, every successful onboarding, every calm waiting room, every grateful parent.
And I want you to know:
We see you.
We appreciate you.
We rely on the systems, the structure, and the stability you’ve built.
The clinic flows because you make it flow.
And as you grow — in leadership, in problem-solving, in resilience — you lift the whole team with you.
Your evolution is just as important, just as valued, and just as celebrated.
⸻
Competence is our love for learning.
Connection is our love for people.
Collaboration is our love for each other as a team.
These aren’t just words on a wall.
They are the heartbeat of this place —
the reason families trust us,
and the reason I trust every one of you.
This culture doesn’t happen by accident.
We build it, together, every single day.
⸻
I am so honoured to grow with each one of you.
I am grateful for the heart you bring to your work.
And I truly believe the future we are creating — together — will change lives in ways we haven’t even imagined yet.
Thank you, team.
For your courage.
For your kindness.
For the love you give to our families.
And for letting me walk this journey with you.
2026 will be our year of becoming — deeper, braver, stronger.
And I cannot wait to grow with you.
