Wayne is our General Manager and senior Speech Pathologist. He is a Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. He is a native Cantonese and Mandarin speaker.
Wayne is a compassionate and warm speech pathologist, who continuously strives to collaborate and provide tailored services to adults, children and their families. He has extensive experience working with NDIS participants who have complex communication needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disability, and other disabilities. His clinical interests are in AACs (LAMP Words for Life, Snap Core First, Proloquo2Go, etc.), pragmatics and social communication, as well as articulation and phonology.
On top of the master of speech pathology degree, Wayne is currently studying Master of Information Technology, with a vision to develop a comprehensive AAC systems to support Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) community.
Wayne loves watching movies, playing games, and spending time with his cats Timmy and Breadie. He is a huge basketball fan and loves playing tennis too.

Celine is a speech pathologist and a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). She completed her Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne. She has been working at the clinic for speech and language therapy and has experience supporting children and adults with complex communication and swallowing needs through her clinical placements at hospitals and NDIS organisations.

Cherry Ng

Cherry is a trilingual speech pathologist with a background in psychiatric nursing. She completed her Master of Speech Pathology at Flinders University and is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia. With experience in both hospital and clinic settings, Cherry supports children and adults with a range of communication needs.
Her clinical interests include bilingualism, early language development, literacy, and working with individuals on the autism spectrum. She values a collaborative, person-centred approach and enjoys building strong, supportive relationships with clients and their families.

Chloe Wong is the Founder and Director of Blackburn Speech Pathology. She is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and a registered member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Chloe completed her Master of Speech Pathology at The University of Melbourne and has worked across various settings, including the Department of Education (DET), primary schools, specialist schools, and private schools. She has extensive experience supporting children with Global Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Chloe has a special interest in Early Childhood Intervention and bilingual language therapy. In recent years, she has actively participated in research projects with leading educational institutions. Most recently, she contributed to the More Than Words Project from La Trobe University, which supports Cantonese- and Mandarin-speaking parents of autistic children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Passionate about training the next generation of speech pathologists, Chloe is employed by the University of Melbourne as a Practice Educator for Master of Speech Pathology students. She is also a mentor for the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences (MDHS) at The University of Melbourne.
Chloe is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and has native-level proficiency in reading and writing Chinese.

Clara completed her Master of Speech Pathology at Macquarie University. Through her clinical training, she gained broad experience across private practice, non-profit and teaching clinics, and public hospital settings, supporting both children and adults with communication and swallowing needs. She also holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan (USA), with a strong foundation in psycholinguistics and research methods.
Clara has a strong interest in bilingual speech and language therapy and culturally and linguistically responsive care. Throughout her training and advocacy work, she has engaged deeply with the challenges and rewards of implementing evidence-based practice in multilingual and multicultural contexts. She has participated in research projects across educational institutions focused on bilingual language processing and acquisition, and has contributed to advocacy efforts by organising clinician–researcher events to support collaboration between clinical and academic communities.
Clara speaks English and Mandarin fluently and has intermediate proficiency in Spanish.

Jelynne completed her Master of Speech Pathology at University of Melbourne. She also holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychology. Jing is a practising member of Speech Pathology Australia with over 14 years of experience working across government, private and non-profit sectors in Melbourne and Canberra. She has a special interest in supporting children in the areas of language, speech, literacy and social communication development.
Jing is passionate about empowering the child’s family and their support team so the child can thrive in their home, educational and community environments. She provides peer and student supervision as well as mentorship of speech pathologists.

Lok-Yan is a Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. She has worked in private practice, primary schools, kindergartens and childcare centres to support clients’ participation within their communities.
Lok Yan is driven to provide care of the best quality by integrating the client’s goals and evidence-based practice to optimise clinical outcomes. As a bilingual therapist, she has experience supporting English-, Mandarin-, and Cantonese-speaking families, and strives to bridge any communication barriers that may hinder their access to services. Melody is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and a Member of Speech Pathology Australia (MSPA). She completed her Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne. Paco is the Occupational Therapist Team Leader with a bachelor’s degree from Monash University and is pursuing a Master of Child Play Therapy at Deakin University. He is deeply passionate about working with children and their families.
Paco has experience supporting children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, and other forms of neurodivergence. He believes play is a fundamental part of childhood and integrates play-based approaches into his sessions and goal-setting to ensure engagement and enjoyment. Paco also adopts a family-centred approach and incorporates the Floortime model to holistically support children and their families. He is multilingual and fluent in both English and Cantonese.

After graduating from University of Melbourne with a major in psychology, Sonia returned to Hong Kong where she pursued a career in education. She initially served as a teaching assistant at a special school, working with students with emotional and behavioural disorders. Subsequently, she transitioned to a mainstream primary school, taking the role as a primary school teacher.
During her years working in the educational setting, Sonia discovered that her true passion lies in forging connections with children. She is now in the process of completing Master of child play therapy at Deakin University to deepen her understanding of children's wellbeing and holistic development.

Carol is an accredited practicing dietitian and a member of Dietitians Australia. Carol obtained her dietetics qualification in Monash University, Melbourne and has more than 17 years of experience working as a dietitian in the community health setting. Carol has completed the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding therapy training. Carol can work with children and their carers to assess their nutritional status, growth and nutritional requirement and give tailored advice on nutrition and feeding. Vera has three young daughters and understands the joy and challenges of parenting. As a mother of three girls, Vera is especially passionate about supporting the mental and emotional wellbeing of girls experiencing different challenges in their lives.
When not at work, Vera enjoys going for long drives and spending quality time with her family. Vera also loves going for walks, catching up with friends and indulging in rare quiet moments on her own.

With a background of human resources and hotel management, Ruby is keen to bring her knowledge to improve client experiences.
Originally from Hong Kong, Ruby can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

Avita is our admin assistant. She is currently studying for a Bachelor of IT In RMIT. However, she is very talkative and loves to share. "Sharing is caring"
She can talk through challenges and get things done, much like Jen Barber from "The IT Crowd" though she is certainly more tech-savvy when it comes to coding! Avita is originally from Hong Kong and she can speak Cantonese, Chinese, and English.
In her own time, she is quite outgoing and enjoys staying active. She loves spending time in nature (although she is not the biggest fan of insects), and she is passionate about animals. She also regularly play golf and badminton, and when she is not outdoor, she enjoys cooking and baking in her free time.

Dorothy is our Admin Assistant and is currently studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at La Trobe University. She is approachable and enjoys helping clients and supporting the team.
Dorothy speaks fluent English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and intermediate Japanese.
Outside of work, she enjoys learning languages, reading, and spending time with friends.

With a background in Early Childhood Education and years of administration experience in both Hong Kong and Australia, Tini is dedicated to supporting families and ensuring a welcoming experience at BSP. She speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
Will Hoang
Will Hoang

Will holds a Bachelor of Business with over 15 years experience in business management. Prior to joining Blackburn Speech & Paediatirc Therapy, he worked in property management and business development.
Will's duties include -

Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.

Monitoring and analysing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
Will is a big fan of Rafael Nadal. He loves all kinds of ball games and enjoys having a hit of tennis, badminton, and cricket with his mates.
